Our Approach
Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and person-centred space for children, adolescents, and young adults. We believe counselling should be tailored to the unique needs of each individual, combining evidence based therapies with creative methods to make the process both meaningful and effective.
Children
When supporting children, I focus on creating a nurturing environment where they feel safe to explore and express their emotions. I often integrate therapeutic art and play, such as drawing, storytelling, and role-play—so children can communicate in ways that feel natural and engaging. These creative approaches help them process experiences, develop coping skills, and build emotional awareness, all while feeling supported and understood.
Adolescents & Young Adults
Working with adolescents and young adults requires empathy, flexibility, and respect for their growing independence. I support them through challenges such as identity, peer and family pressures, academic stress, and mental health concerns. My therapeutic work is underpinned by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), alongside creative modalities and Polyvagal-informed practice.
These approaches help young people develop emotional regulation, resilience, and practical coping strategies for managing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and behavioural concerns. I encourage collaboration in the counselling process, ensuring they feel empowered and actively involved in their journey toward growth and wellbeing.
