Cassie is a registered counsellor with a special focus on Child Development, Emotional Regulation, and Capacity Building for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Intellectual Disabilities. She is also experienced in supporting children and adolescents navigate Out of Home Care, Mental health challenges and Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) concerns. As a member of the Australian Counselling Association, Cassie upholds the highest standards of ethical and professional practice.
With over a decade of experience in the welfare sector—including Home-Based Care, Mental Health, and AOD—Cassie is dedicated to helping children, adolescents and families develop emotional resilience and essential life skills. She creates a safe and supportive space where young people can explore their feelings, develop self-regulation strategies, and build confidence in managing daily challenges.
Cassie integrates therapeutic art and play into her practice, providing an engaging and developmentally appropriate way for children to express emotions, process experiences, and develop coping skills. This creative, child-centred approach is especially beneficial for those who may find verbal communication difficult or overwhelming.
Passionate about empowering children and young people, Cassie works collaboratively to foster growth, self-awareness, and emotional well-being, ensuring each child has the tools and support they need to thrive.
